Standing outside the hospital,
Enjoying the beautiful sky,
A memory from
my past
Just happened to walk by.

I don't believe in coincidence:
I believe its God Anonymous
But what
should be the reason
For this encounter of
Us?

I haven't seen this person
For
about a thousand years,
Yet, when our eyes
met,
It was as though years disappeared.

We were young and foolish again:
That moment soon would pass,
And we
behaved as any adults would,
We showed a
little class.
But as we talked of simple things
Like
what brought you here today,
My mind raced
back to unsaid things
I'd give the world to
say.

Are you happy?
Do you feel
loved?
How is your family?

Do you recall with fondness
All
the happy times we shared?
In quiet times,
have you thought of me,
And if I really
cared?

Do you wonder where our life would
be
If only we had tried?
Do you recall
the music;
Do you remember how I cried?

Our love was not to be,
Of that
there is no doubt,
But it was good to see
you,
And what you are about.

I'm placing you and all these
thoughts
Into God's Arms above,
Just one
more thought:
God Bless, and
Remember
You Were
Loved.
