The First Stone
As a country, we've made mistakes we need to
atone,
"Let he, who is without sin, cast the first
stone."
So quick are we to find the fault in one
another,
Do we realize that we are blaming our own
brother?
Who has not told a lie, or borne false witness?
Coveted your neighbor; or has a 'hidden'
mistress?
"Not I", say you; with 'righteous'
consternation,
That mistress might just be your 'Moral'
indignation!
For all of us have fallen short, on that you can
depend,
Yet, none stands taller than when they stoop to
help a friend.
Instead of laying blame, can we all work through
this recession,
Casting all these stones aside, for we finally
learned our lesson?

Matthew 7:1-2 (KJV)
Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what
judgment
ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what
measure ye mete,
it shall be measured to you again.
