on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it

Shall We Agree?


Shall we agree that we want us to leave
A world for our children like the one we received?
God's Autumn Beauty, Springs blooming hues,
The snow storms of winter, summer's early dews?



Shall we agree that Lofty Mountain peaks
Give us 'views of the valleys', when answers we seek?
And can we stand on the ocean's sandy shore
Watching waves kiss beaches, and not ask for more?



Shall we agree there is Love we can share?
Shall we agree there are burdens to bare?
Is it not true, that prayer holds the key,
And Faith opens the door, if we only agree?



Shall we agree we have lessons to learn?
Shall we agree, toward Christ we should turn?
If only we could learn to Love like He did
What a wonderful world we could leave to our kids.
