Once more, you stepped beyond the door
I helped to open for you,
And strove to achieve more that my dreams
Could ever conceive~~~
Yet you made it through.
Once more, graduating college complete,
You wanted more.
Nothing less that an Master’s Degree!
You knew the score,
And made it happen.
Once more, you stepped into the breech,
Of ‘What was’ and ‘What was meant to be’,
And made my life complete,
By giving me my Katrina Kay.
And now, I haven’t any doubt,
Once more; you will reach out
And hold the new love offered you.
And you, in doing so, see that
My cup is overflowing too.
Oh, my child; the joy of my youth,
I know you know the truth,
Holding this new baby to my heart,
Memory will be kept safe like lock and key
How much my God has Blessed me,
